Louise obtained her undergraduate degree here at the University of Southampton in 2009. As part of her degree she completed research projects on High Throughput Discovery of Model Fuel Cell Electrocatalysts and Electrochemical and Solid-Phase Modification of Glassy Carbon Electrodes with Dihydrobenzene Compounds for the Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Ascorbic Acid. Her undergraduate project work within the surface science group has led to a keen interest within heterogeneous catalysis. Louise has now joined the surface science group as a PhD student, researching High Through-put Discovery of Electrocatalytic Materials for the Reduction of Groundwater Contaminated by Nitrate.

Scientific Interests: Combinatorial Synthesis and Screening, Electrocatalysis, Nitrate Reduction.
